YouTube Contest for Hip-Hop Music Vloggers

YouTube has teamed up with hip-hop artists 50 Cent, Common, and Polow da Don for a contest that will award the winner a single’s deal with Interscope and G-Unit Records, a gift card of $10,000 from Guitar Center, and a featured spot of the winning video on YouTube’s homepage.

The famous folks will choose the twenty finalists, but the public will pick the final winner - a sort of American Idol web style. As different countries have different laws about contests, only U.S. residents, 18 years or older will be able to enter. The contest runs from August 10 to August 17.
