Metacafe Gets a Redesign

Metacafe Redesigned Page and Video Player
It looks like Metacafe has given itself a makeover, changing the appearance of its video pages and adding features.

Among the changes are:

  • a redesigned video player, giving it a cleaner look
  • more information about your video displayed, including things such as views, comments, categories, and sites that are displaying it
  • a redesigned comment section
  • an elimination of urls in the comment section, thereby cutting down on the spam
  • a redesigned recommended videos section
  • two new sections: Metacafe Classics and Producer Rewards
  • new social bookmarking tools (including links to Stumbleupoin, Netscape, and Reddit)
