Uploading Your Video to Multiple Sites at Once
By Joe | November 6th, 2011 | Category: Tools for Vloggers, Video Sharing Sites | Comments OffWhile the technical side of vlogging is unavoidable, and editing can be a pain at times, it’s still a creative process, and therefore it can even be enjoyable.
But once you’ve decided your vlog is ready for the masses, you still have that last step to go — actually broadcasting it to the masses.
The first place you go is probably to your own blog (if you have one), and then you go to YouTube, maybe Myspace, Metacafe, etc. You know that it’s better to get as much exposure as possible, but even though the prospect of getting more eyeballs can be motivating, soon you find yourself getting tired of going around to all the different video hubs and uploading your clip.
Well, there may be an answer to such tedious work. It’s called Hey!Spread, and it’s a service that will let you upload your video to multiple sites in “one shot,” as they say. You will still need to first have an account at the various services, but once your account is set up, it should be easier to upload your vlogs in the future.
The file types they support are .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, 3GP, .DV and .MPG.
Currently they offer uploading to the following video sites:
YouTube
MySpace
Google Videos
Yahoo Videos
Dailymotion
Blip.tv
Photobucket
Metacafe
Bolt
Putfile
